Tendulkar return gives India the edge

Kuala Lumpur: Despite losing 1-4 in the five match series in the West Indies recently, batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar’s return from a long injury lay-off has given a slight edge to India when the two teams clash in the DLF Cup Tri-series on September 14.
There is no doubt that Sachin’s return to international cricket will be watched keenly not just in India but all over the world and to see two best batsmen in the world – Sachin and the West Indies skipper Brian Lara – face-off on a new venue will give a new high to the keen followers of the game.
The duo’s presence will surely add more thrill to the proceedings, which is certain to give a high dosage of entertainment to Malaysia's cricket loving public.
Coming back to cricket, Indian skipper Rahul Dravid will be looking forward to winning the toss as the pitch promises to be a batsman-friendly one. Even though India’s young and emerging star Yuvraj Singh is ruled out for the first match due to ill-health, Dravid will be hoping that Dinesh Mongia, who too is making a comeback after more than a year, will fill the void.
